Indian astrology, also known as Hindu astrology, is famous for offering predecitions about future life to people who believe in it. It already starts with newborn getting named after horoscope or jyotiṣa chart (aka. Kundali). Astrology plays a major role in every crucial decision such as marriage, buying a home, starting a new business as it became part of the tradition. The theory of astrology is based on the concept that the planets in our solar system have an influence on our health, activity and mind. Since it is not backed by science, there is no reason to believe this could be true, however, as with everything, there a split between believers and non-believers. Despite advancements in modern science, there is still a lot of ambiguity and discussions about space and universe. Astrology may continue to exist as long as mankind is around.
